Description: A pleasant walk passing on country lanes, open fields, woodland and finishing along the back road from Hetton to Cracoe. A slightly longer route than the Hetton Circular walk.

Directions: From Coxons Farm Glamping pods, head out to the B6265 and turn right. Continue down the hill and cross over the road heading up Chapel Lane, passing St. Peters church and arriving into the village of Rylstone. 

Cross over the road, and continue straight past Rylstone duck pond. Before you reach the railway track, turn left up green lane and continue to Green farm. Turn right at the farm buildings, and continue straight on to the T junction, then turn right. Pass through the gate, and follow the track towards the bridge passing over the railway line. 

Follow the track across the field, before coming to a kissing gate. Go through and continue through the woods passing over the footbridge.

Turn right immediately over the footbridge, and follow the track over the meadows which will bring you out at the village of Hetton. From here, simply follow the road straight back to Cracoe, passing the Angel pub and Cracoe cricket pitch.
