The Farm

IMG_3787.JPG

Coxons Farm is a 420 acre upland sheep and beef farm located in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We are a traditional family farm, breeding commercial Texel-x lambs and Limousin-x store cattle. All our livestock is sold through our local market.

Sustainability plays an important roll on our farm, working alongside nature to produce high quality sheep and beef. The unique dales environment and our traditionalist farming methods contribute towards quality water, carbon sequestration and biodiversity. Solar panels on our farm buildings provide the energy to power our farm and glamping pods.

Our glamping pods are a means of farm diversification, to support our farm business. Located just behind the main farm, the pods offer stunning views towards Swindon hill and Boss moor in the North-West, with the towering gritstone ridge of Cracoe Fell in the East. While staying at our pods, you will inevitably see us working the land, gathering sheep and other day to day activities running our farm.
